The golden symmetrical scrolls are inspired by chiseled gilded chalices, treasured in European temples and palaces of the late Middle Ages. Acrylics in gold and silver hues and a meticulous outline in Indian ink were used here instead. The egg is glued and standing on a polymer clay ring. It is sealed with a coat of crystal clear UV resistant varnish.
