The tiny glass drops and needles that are glued meticulously upon the eggshell, were fired in Germany, in the 1950’s. The design is inspired by an impressionist painting of a garden. The egg is secured and standing on vintage green buttons.
This vintage egg was displayed in my first decorated egg’s exhibition in Athens, 1994.
