The egg is inspired by a Venice Carnival mask and is part of the collection Eggshells as Masks. It is sealed with a coat of crystal clear UV resistant varnish. A red velvet handsewn “dress” holds the egg secured on a shelf or table.
This vintage egg was displayed in my first eggs exhibition in Athens, 1994.
